1. EXAM RULES

Students can take exam in two ways:

– by taking colloquiums or

– by taking entire exam at once.

Students who opt to take exam through colloquiums:

– The curriculum of Pharmacology is divided into four colloquiums.

– Each of the colloquiums can be taken in written form.

– Every colloquium consists of 30 questions.

– Each colloquium can be taken only during semester, and at least 7 days after final lecture covered by colloquium.

– If student does not to pass first colloquium in the first term, it is possible to take same colloquium in the second term.

– Only students who took colloquium in first term and did not pass have the right to take the first colloquium in the second term.

– If the student is not satisfied with test result, it is possible to take entire exam at once and in that way to void previous result.

– If student didn’t pass the second, third or fourth colloquium, even the all previous colloquiums are passed, student is obliged to take entire exam at once.

– If student has successfully passed all four colloquiums and colloquium in prescriptions, it is possible to take oral exam of Pharmacology.

– If student does not fulfill conditions for final score to be generated (passed practical exam – colloquium in prescriptions and oral exam) one year after passing fourth colloquium, student must take entire exam at once.

– Following parameters are taken into account for calculation of final score: activity during practical lectures, score at the practical part of exam – colloquium in drug prescribing, scores of four colloquiums, theoretical lecture attendance and results from oral exam.

Students who opt to take entire exam at once:

– Entire exam at once is taken through written test. Only if in one exam term less than 5 students apply for exam, students will have oral exam instead of test.

– Test will take 80 points.

– Entire exam at once can be taken only during exam term.

– Topics for entire exam at once include all topics of Pharmacology.

– If student has successfully passed test (and colloquium in drug prescribing) it is possible to take oral exam of Pharmacology, after which, final score will be calculated in Pharmacology and final score can be entered (written) in “Index”.

– If student, one year after successfully passing entire exam at once, does not fulfill all of the conditions for final score to be calculated (does not pass colloquium in drug prescribing and oral exam), student must take entire exam once again.

– Following parameters are taken into account for calculation of final score: activity during practical lectures, score at the practical part of exam – colloquium in drug prescribing, test score, theoretical lecture attendance and oral exam.
